ABOUT ME

My name is Sruthi Senthil and I'm a junior at Wakeland High School with a passion to pursue a career in the science field. I have experience in various areas such as being the Sales Board Director for a non-profit organization, Praayanam. I have been a youth volunteer and intern for Art of Living allowing me to gain skills such as networking, public speaking, and teamwork. Furthermore, I have been playing the veena, an Indian classical instrument, for 10 years which has given me the skills of perseverance, hard work, and commitment.

Additionally, I am involved in DECA, HOSA, and other various clubs. Currently, I am on the officer team for HOSA working to plan events for the members, new meetings, and blood drives. DECA has allowed me to explore my interests in the business field. I have been participating in DECA for 1 year with this one being my second, and have made it to state level in Sports and Entertainment Marketing Operations Research. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering, exploring nature, and pursuing my extracurricular activities related to my field of interest.

My mission statement for this year is ISM 1 is to expand my knowledge about Anesthesiology by delving deeper into the specifics of how patient lives are affected by these procedures. I intend to further my interest in anesthesiology and medical research by developing relationships with professionals in the field. As I establish more connections, I hope to grow my professional skills and find more people with the same passions as me.
