This week in Independent Study Mentorship Class, I worked on my second Original Work Assessment for the majority of the week. For my second Original Work Assessment, I learned more about Anesthesiology, my confirmed topic of study in ISM 1. I decided to go into depth about different types of anesthesiology and learn new things about how anesthesiology is used for different procedures in a hospital setting. I am glad I decided to take this approach because I was able to learn a lot more about what I want to implement into my Original Work. Other than that, this week is pretty relaxed with only a couple tests which is a nice break from last week. I still have to study a lot and prepare for my SAT coming up, but that is always going to be there with junior year. Next class, we also have our November etiquette meal at First Watch. I’ve never been to First Watch, so this will be a new place to try for this month. Looking at the menu, I will probably get avocado toast and a fun drink. Overall, I am very excited to talk to everyone and build closer relationships with everyone in ISM.
