Last week in Independent Study Mentorship Class, we started with bringing up our boards to school. As a class, we all went around and looked at each other’s ISM Display Board’s, we gave each other feedback and helped each other out with what each of us can improve on. This way, we all got feedback on what to change for our ISM Display Board before our Showcase on Feb 7 happens. We also had our Original Work Presentations at the library this last week. As a group of 3, we took turns presenting out 18-20 minute speech and recorded them to send to Mr. Ratliff. These speeches were difficult to create as 20 minutes is a very long period of time to speak for. But, it all worked out in the end and my group of 3 did an amazing job. Finally, for this week, we had our etiquette meal where we were able to enjoy and eat out with our friends. We went to Maple Street Bar, and I ordered hashbrowns and a biscuit. It was a nice opportunity to just get away from school and relax for a morning outside of the classroom. I’m excited for next week’s plans.
